The past year or so has been rather friendly to new duos. Thompson Square in particular got a number one hit with "Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not", and some lesser players like Steel Magnolia, Joey + Rory and LoCash Cowboys have at least gotten their names out there. There's also the JaneDear girls, who managed a top 15 hit with the slick but spunky "Wildflower". Their second single, "Shotgun Girl", managed to crack the charts before it was even released, so they're certainly resounding with radio.

Just like their last song, "Shotgun Girl" is energetic and slick.
