Susie Brown lead singer of the country music duo the JaneDear girls is all an around American girl. Growing up in the mountain west, she started playing her fiddle at the age of 4. She can't remember a time she wasn't pickin', pluckin'or strummin'! She plays fiddle, madollin, guitar, bass and accordian. Susie attributes her passion and musical success to her mother who passed away when Susie was 16 years old after losing her courageous battle with cancer. Her mother was the driving force behind Susie's musical talents waking her up before school to practice her fiddle and taking her to all her lessons, always sacrificing her own needs for Susie's music. She believed in her daughter and encouraged her everyday to go for her dreams and never give up. After her mom passed Susie's heart kept yearning to live the dream her mom so lovingly instilled in her, and just go for it! For 7 years Susie's called Nashville her home and she's been living the dream for her and her Mama, never give up!
